Biography
Ashley Anderson focuses her practice on representing government contractors and their insurers before the United State Department of Labor’s judicial and administrative tribunals in defense of claims brought by employees arising under the Defense Base Act extension of the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. Ashley is also a member of the firm’s SMB Cares Committee, which creates opportunities to serve populations-in-need in the neighborhoods in which we live and work.
Previously, Ashley defended manufacturers, distributors, and their insurers involved in product liability, toxic tort, and general liability litigation. She has handled state and federal litigation involving labor law, construction and personal injury. Ashley has also represented insurance carriers and self-insured employers before the New York State Workers' Compensation Board. She also interned with the Labor Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s office.
