Cyber Coverage

Our Cyber Coverage attorneys have extensive experience representing domestic and international insurers in assessing liability under first- and third-party cyber insurance and serving as coverage counsel. From the earliest days of financial institution computer crime policies, our attorneys have assisted insurers in responding to claims and drafting insurance policies and endorsements to address the evolving risks presented by technological progress. We closely follow changing laws and other developments that affect privacy, technology and data security so we can provide our clients with the sophisticated counsel they need to anticipate, assess and respond to new threats and potential losses.

• First party claims for data breach remediation, data restoration, business email compromises and other social engineering losses
• First party claims for extortion, ransomware or network insecurity, including negotiating ransomware payments and addressing complex business interruption valuation issues
