Marie F. Figueiredo

Marie Figueiredo serves as coverage counsel for insurers based in the United States, London and Bermuda and currently focuses her practice on aviation coverage matters, including airline liability, aviation commercial general liability and third-party aircraft liability and first-party coverages. She also has experience with a broad range of professional and other specialty lines of coverage, including D&O, E&O, LPL, cyber and tech policies. Marie analyzes, manages, monitors and resolves a wide range of liability and coverage issues to mitigate and reduce loss exposure while identifying and prioritizing each client’s business interests and goals.

Additionally, Marie has significant experience as immediate data breach counsel advising and guiding clients who have experienced cyber-security incidents through stages of forensic analysis, notification, regulatory compliance and potential third-party claims.

Marie previously worked at a major global insurer handling high-complexity environmental and toxic tort matters.
