Biography
Timothy W. Evanston practices in the area of bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency matters. His experience includes representing insurers, trustees, chapter 11 debtors, creditors, and receivers in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.
While in law school, Timothy served a judicial externship to the Honorable Theodor C. Albert, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California, and worked as a legal intern for the U.S. Trustee Program of the Department of Justice. After law school, he served a judicial clerkship to the Honorable Theodor C. Albert, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California. He subsequently served a judicial clerkship to the Honorable Robert N. Kwan, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California.

Skarzynski Marick Adds Bankruptcy Team in Los Angeles
02/12/2025Skarzynski Marick & Black is pleased to welcome an experienced bankruptcy team to its Los Angeles office. Led by Russell Roten and Jeff Kahane, the group also includes Timothy Evanston and Nathan Reinhardt who join the firm as Counsel. The bankruptcy group focuses its nationwide practice on representing the insurance industry, complementing Skarzynski Marick’s highly regarded insurance coverage litigation practice. They join from Duane Morris.
